Georgetown’s resilience and commitment to its youth remains strong. Even after the closing of the Georgetown Youth Community Center, members of the community came together to discuss how they can continue to support youth and families in Georgetown. Ideas were suggested on how programming can be supported at the Middle High School and how other community partners and organizations can think creatively about how to continue support. It’s all about partnerships, and this dedicated group of adults continues to find ways to support their youth.

The group included members of the police, the First Congregational Church, Camp Dennison, the PTA, parents, the state house, the Council on Aging, town hall, the schools, school committee, selectman and local volunteers.
